In December, COSI President & CEO Dr. David Chesebrough will be retiring after over ten years of service. By making a gift in David’s honor, your contribution will support the continuation of one of David’s greatest passions at COSI – the development of impactful teen programming.
While the training and support of young talent has been a cultural value of COSI’s for our entire 50 year history, David has especially recognized the critical need for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) workforce development in our community and understood how teens will fill this vital STEM pipeline. He has played a leadership role in developing programs that inspire youth, spark interest in STEM professions, and help teens identify pathways to pursue professional STEM fields.
From our Career Ladder program to the Tech Studio, COSI proudly offers programs that promote career exploration, employable skills development, leadership experiences, and digital literacy. As David makes his way toward retirement and the excitement of more time with his family, we can be glad that his passion for teen programming will continue through COSI’s ongoing work to serve as a catalyst for youth to achieve their full potential in school and in life.
COSI’s— and many teens’— future is that much brighter, thanks to the visionary leadership of David Chesebrough and, of course, generous supporters like you!
On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, COSI hosted an event celebrating the retirement of President and CEO, Dr. David Chesebrough complete with a video highlighting his accomplishments during his tenure.
Thank you again for your thoughtful gift in honor of David’s legacy at COSI.
